What Face Rater is

Face Rater lets you upload a photo of yourself and get a free, explainable analysis of the geometry visible in that photo: a 0–100 reference score, a named tier, and three measurements — each with a plain-English explanation and an on-image overlay showing exactly which points and lines produced the numbers. A one-time $6.99 report unlocks the full interpretation: complete measurement explanations, calibrated observations, and practical, non-medical suggestions.

Why we built it this way

Search for an "attractiveness rater" and you mostly find two things: apps that return a single unexplained number, and communities built around ranking strangers' faces. Both treat a face as a verdict.

We think the honest version of this product looks different:

• Explainable over impressive. Every number we show comes from a deterministic geometric calculation you can inspect — the overlay on your photo shows the exact landmarks and distances used. If we cannot measure something from your photo, we say "not scored" instead of inventing a number.
• Reference, not judgment. Our score is a custom photo-geometry reference defined by this site. It moves with lighting, angle, and device. It is not an objective measure of attractiveness, not a percentile, and not a statement about anyone's worth.
• Calibrated humility. Our reference bands are initial values pending calibration, and we label them as such everywhere they appear. When we don't know, the product says so.
• Useful next steps, not anxiety. The paid report exists to answer "okay, what does this mean and what can I actually do?" — with suggestions that state their basis, conditions, limits, and upkeep. We do not sell insecurity, and we do not upsell endlessly: one price, everything unlocked.

What we will not do

• No medical, dermatological, or cosmetic-surgery advice.
• No inference of intelligence, trustworthiness, competence, personality, age, or health from photos.
• No "objective beauty" claims, population percentiles, or rating scales borrowed from lookism communities.
• No uploading your original photo in the free tier — analysis runs locally in your browser.

The name

"Face Rater" is a working name. We kept it because it is what people search for; what we actually ship is closer to "understand your photo, explore what suits you." If you have thoughts on the product or its direction, we would genuinely like to hear them — see the contact page.
